Due to the generosity of our VL community, we have partnered with Tampa Bay Network to End Hunger and established a Meals on Wheels for Kids (MOW4kids) program in the Wimauma Community.  With this success, we now have the opportunity to be hands-on in the delivery of food to local children.

• We are delivering prepared and packaged food to children and their families once a week.
• We meet at the Beth-El Farmworker Ministry, approximately 5 miles south on Rt 301, at 10:45 Monday mornings to receive route information and pick up the food.
• This is a weekly event but participation is NOT required every week.
• Volunteers work as teams – never alone.
• New Volunteers will first ride with an experienced team to learn the protocols and process.
• Safety is our first concern. We always wear masks and gloves and maintain a safe social distance.

If you are interested in participating in the program,  please contact Mike Kates at dlkates@gmail.com.
